Biography

Dr Aydın, graduated from the Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Department at the Middle East Technical University in 1990. While continuing his professional life in energy sector, he received his Master degree in Economics from Hacettepe University and his Phd degree in Economics  from Faculty of Political Sciences  of Ankara University. He has been involved in post-doctoral  research on global energy issues at GTAP (Global Trade Analysis Project), research center at Purdue University, USA. He worked at the General Directorate of Petroleum Affairs of the Ministry of Energy for many years as the Deputy of General Director. He has started his academic life in 2011 at the Department of Economics, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in Kırıkkale University. He is currently a Professor of Economics at Social Sciences University of Ankara. He is married with two children.
