Recai Aydin (Ph.D) completed his undergraduate education in Economics at Bilkent University. Then, he moved to the United States to complete his graduate education in economics at the University of Houston. During and after his doctoral study, he taught in various colleges and universities in Texas as adjunct instructor, visiting assistant professor and assistant professor. He returned back home in 2009 and briefly worked in consulting business. He returned back teaching in 2010 as an assistant professor in Turkish Police Academy. He moved to Social Sciences University of Ankara in 2017. He also taught and served as an administrator in International Balkan University, Macedonia and International University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina between 2010 and 2018 from time to time.
